Craft Room Storage: Embossing Powder

August 9, 2018

Hi friends! Since there was such an awesome response to my Craft Room Tour video I wanted to share more videos going in depth on each of my crafty storage methods. Today’s video shares how I swatch and store all my embossing powders to make them easy to use and very accessible.

(Looking for anything that I used in the video? All of the supplies are linked with images to multiple stores at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used when possible. Watch the full video HERE in HD!)

COLOR SWATCHING

To make it super easy to see all of the colors, I heat embossed each powder directly onto the lid. This makes it easy to have the color with the jars of powder facing up in a drawer. It is super easy to do and very helpful to see the exact color for your projects!

LARGE CONTAINERS

I store my more used embossing powders in Sistema Sandwich Containers. This makes it easy to emboss projects and contain the mess inside a container. I put a few jars of embossing powder with a spoon in each container to make it very easy to use.

Thanks for giving us a look at the embossing powder organization. Very helpful. Right now, mine are in a hodge podge, they need some organization and I love to idea of color swatching the tops. I don’t have drawer space, so I usually keep them in a basket or a box on a shelf. I’m always up for suggestions on organizing. Thanks!
