Copic Altered Layered Stamping

Hi there! I have always loved simple layered stamping, but in today’s video I’m going to show how to layer using Copic markers and combine solid images with layered stamps. For all of the stamping I will be using Altenew Crisp Inks because they have so many bright colors and make layered stamping easy.

Β Sometimes taking a small image from a stamp set and making that the focus of your card can have a great outcome. Today I wanted the main focus of my card to be an apple image that we are going to layer and alter using Copic markers to make it look like fruits and berries.

To start off, stamp all of the images using the lightest color of all of your Altenew Crisp Inks sets. this layer will act like the lightest color in a layering stamp set. Then throw on your color to make it look like your favorite colorful fruits and berries. I tried to make mine look like pears, peaches, blueberries, and lemons, however I just started calling them magical berries because they look nothing like the real fruits.

Then use the rest of the stamps to create your layered tree images. These work better if you stamp them and cut them out separately and adhere them together later on the card. I love how with the layered stamping you can get such a realistic look and it still works if your stamping is not perfect.

To finish off the cards I added everything using foam tape to get dimension on little card bases. These cards make a great little thank you card and are easy to create and mass produce with some many colorful possibilities.

Enjoy the video!
