Pigment Ink Blending

Hello Everybody! I was very inspired by the card that I had created on Monday using masking and blending with dye inks. However today I will be using pigment inks to blend my background.

Today I used the Tiny Heroes stamp set from Mama Elephant to stamp my scene. I used Copic Markers to color in and blend the images.

I colored in the images using different shades of Copic Markers. The images are not blended perfectly, I am new and am still learning techniques.

I masked off the superheroes and blended the background using My Favorite Things Pigment Inks. Adding little dots on the horizon line of the sky can add a little bit more detail and finishing touch to the scene.

I stamped the sentiment “Wham! Bam! You got this!” below the superheroes. Finally, I popped the panel onto a card base using fun foam.

I loved creating this clean and simple card using pigment inks to blend the background and Copics to color my images. Laura Bassen’s ink blending skills have really inspired me lately, I hope you will stop by her blog and check out some of her amazing cards.

Enjoy the video!
