Stamping With Brusho + Fixing Mistakes

Hi there! I was challenged by Catherine Pooler and Michele from Casual Friday Stamps to create a card that knocks Catherine’s socks off! Challenge Accepted.

Today’s video shows how to stamp using Brusho Powders and how to do major card surgery and fix huge mistakes. We will be using the Autumn Blessings stamp set as today’s focus to create the card.

I used the two solid leaf stamps with some watered down Brusho to stamp out my three leaves with a variety of different colors. I used Brusho to get lots of texture and vibrant colors, these powders are perfect for exactly that!

To cut out a piece of vellum and the stems for the leaves, I used the coordinating die set called Acorn. I then adhered all of the leaves together and added them onto a tag from the Scallop Tag die set which creates awesome tags with fun scallop details.

I die cut the Blessings sentiment onto my tag from the Noel die set and stamped down the sentiment to you underneath it. To make sure I aligned this sentiment very straight I used the MISTI stamping tool.

Finally, I stamped a wood grain background and tied some twine to the tag. For more information on how I did the card surgery and fixed my mistakes watch the video below!

Enjoy the video!
